New England Fall Diaries: Vlog Entry 2

You can’t really call it a New England trip if you only do one state, right? So after hiking Mine Falls Creek in New Hampshire, I headed down to Massachusetts, and did 5 trails in one day! — starting with Deer Jump Reservation.

The truly impressive part? I started that very first trail with a bee-sting on my butt. Pretty sure that bee racially profiled me…

    1. It was in the 50s the day before! And the day after that it was 74. Then it got cold again 😂

      1. Haha. Weather is always temperamental in the states though. That doesn’t surprise me.

How far were you hiking without seeing any other people?

    1. Hmmm…. I wasn’t keeping track, but I think I hiked Deer Jump Reservation for about 3 miles.

  3. Hiking in the woods without other people around is the best! Unless you need emergency medical attention because of an awkwardly-placed bee sting, of course.

    1. Haha, yes. It was burning the whole time. I was like wow, look at me now going into a pharmacy later to ask for a remedy for the burning sensation on my butt. That won’t go over too well 😂😂

Hiking alone is always great. Only ever did that before in Georgia though.

      1. Haha, I’m sure pharmacy techs are used to hearing about all sorts of strange symptoms 🙂
