I enjoyed my stay at Sand Hollow State Park, but it was time to meet up with Kevin at the Colorado National Monument. I usually don’t drive for more than 3 to 5 hours a day. For this trip, I was on the road from around 10 AM to 8 PM. To add to the lengthy travel time, I got lost once, almost ran out of gas twice, and almost had two blow-outs on the highway.
