If you were hanging around my blog last summer, you may remember how ecstatic I was when I got back from the Atlanta leg of Vans Warped Tour 2017. I had just discovered a new band, and felt the sweet nostalgia from finding something that brings back fond memories of a lost era. For me, that lost era was the glory-days of contempory rock, in the early 2000s.
In The Best Performers on the Atlanta Leg of Vans Warped Tour 2017: Our Last Night, I praised the band and their performance so well that they re-shared the post on their Twitter page. To say I was beyond excited at the simple act of acknowledgement would be an understatement. If I loved them before, I was perfectly obsessed, now.
Towards the end of last year, I learned that they would be coming to Atlanta in the spring. The tickets sold so quickly and so well that they were forced to upgrade their venue to fit more of us. I’m happy to say I already grabbed my ticket, and will be fan-girling away in the crowd.

To boot, the band added I The Mighty, Don Broco, and Jule Vera to their lineup. I don’t know the first two bands (yet!), but Jule Vera was another artiste I discovered at Vans Warped Tour 2017, and loved. I’m pretty excited to see her back on stage!
If the Selective Hearing Tour passes through your neck of the woods, I encourage you to go see them. If you need a bit more encouragement, here’s one of my favourite covers they’ve done: HUMBLE by Kendrick Lamar. Yes, you read that correctly…
And a bonus, my favourite original song from them, Common Ground.
