I travelled alone to Rasdhoo Island for two weeks, in 2019. It is the safest I have ever felt in a foreign destination.
Maybe you'll hate it and never set foot aboard a ship again. Or, maybe it will be the best experience you ever had.
Since returning to Atlanta, one of the things I've struggled with is getting used to American food again.
My request to visit Rasdhoo Madivaru (Picnic Island) coincided with a planned family gettogether, so we combined the two.
Finally, I could see the beach we exited from coming once more into the view. Freedom!
The underwater view was beautiful, but why waste words on it when I have pictures?
Needless to say, I am a long way from home.
Over the next two weeks, I'll be blogging from white sands and turquoise beaches in the Maldives.
