I was recently nominated by Josh Gross for the Blogger Appreciation Award. Josh is an academic with a love for the big, wild cats of the jungle. We’ve followed each other’s blogs for some time now, swapping travel advice and debating the many ills plaguing contemporary society. I especially enjoyed his recent posts on his trip to Belize.
Rules
As with all blogging awards, there are rules governing how we accept them, to keep the ball rolling. I have to admit though that these are the simplest rules I’ve had to follow so far:
- Thank the blogger who nominated you and provide a link back to their site.
- Write a paragraph of something positive about yourself.
- Nominate and notify as many bloggers as you wish.
- Use the award image.
Positive Paragraph
Prior to 2015, Caution might have very well been my middle name. But after a year of rolling the dice with reckless abandon in 2015, I’ve developed a healthy appetite for risk. I’m no adrenaline-junkie, but I find I don’t walk into things with lukewarm detachment. What I want, I want — and I will move mountains, if necessary, to have it.
Nominees
As usual, I’m just shouting out bloggers here. You’re under no pressure to participate. Consider this a nod in the direction of your blogs, and a thank you for the connections we’ve built a post, and a comment, and a debate at a time.
Thank you to everyone who has connected with me over the years in the blogosphere!
Congratulations!
Thank you! 😄
Hi Alex, thank you for the kind words! I never would’ve thought of you as an overly cautious person, seeing as how I’ve only known you after 2015.
Haha, yes, that’s a part of the Alex that got left in Jamaica. I shed that skin when I decided to come here, and even more so, when I ended up staying.
And you’re welcome! Thanks for nominating me 😊
Congratulations.
Thank you, Liza!
