On November 23rd 2018, I announced that the paperback version of The Moreau Witches was now available for pre-order via my website. I was then amazed by how many people kept their word and placed their orders for the paperback copy in less than 24 hours after that announcement.
First Round of Pre-Ordered Paperbacks Delivered
After many trials and a few triumphs with the typesetting files and some adjustments to the book cover, I was finally able to reward my readers’ patience on Wednesday by sending off all the pre-ordered copies of The Moreau Witches via Amazon. Amazon was the only printer of 3 who already had a finished and approved copy I could send.
Paperback Now Available on Amazon, Worldwide
Unfortunately, the pre-order process was only available for US-buyers, so I’m happy to announce that you can now purchase your own paperback copy of The Moreau Witches from anywhere in the world permitted by Amazon for US $13.99 (plus taxes and shipping).
Pre-Order Pricing on Paperbacks Extended Until 12.31.2018 for US-Buyers
I did not foresee that it would take me as long as it did to get the paperback version of the novel ready. To date, I have now received four different copies or versions of the paperback.
Why so many? Because I refused to sign off on a product I didn’t feel was 100 percent what I had in mind. I’m happy to say that (unless some other error escaped me), this final book is a true representation of all my hard work.
That said, in apology for my lateness, I’m extending the pre-order pricing for US-buyers until the end of this year via my website. At $12.99 (including free shipping), this option is much less expensive than Amazon. On January 1st 2019, the price will go up to $13.99, which will still be inclusive of free shipping. Taxes apply to both.
Signed Copies
I’ve received a lot of requests for signed copies so far, so I’m currently working out the logistics of this and will let you know as soon as I have a solution available. Once I have this finalised, I will add a signed copy option via the book purchase link on my website. Unfortunately, this option will only be available for US-buyers. If you live overseas and would like a signed copy, just let me know. I’m sure we can work something else out.
Upcoming Raffle
Just in case you’re wondering, I have not forgotten about the raffle I mentioned earlier this year. I will likely do the draw on either December 31st or January 1st. As a reminder, the entry rules are as follows.
- Readers who pre-order the eBook or the print version will have their name entered thrice in the raffle.
- Readers who ordered the eBook on Halloween had their name entered twice.
- Everyone else who purchases the book will have their name entered once.
However, please note that this only includes sales on my website, unless you forward along proof of purchase from Amazon or Barnes & Noble, as I don’t know the names or email addresses for any buyers but the ones who purchase the books via my website.
The winner gets to choose their prize from a list of items from my store. Potential items include water bottles, coffee cups and mugs, totes and bags, shirts, and phone cases. I’ll draw up my final list by the end of the year.
