Travel Vlog | Shadow’s First Night Alone in the RV & My Roadtrip From the Mexican Border to Vegas

When Nevada let me vote in the presidential elections, I had to sign paperwork promising that I would give up my Georgia residency. However, because of the pandemic shutdowns earlier in 2020, Vegas had no available appointments until January 2021. During the wait, I left Nevada and headed into Arizona and then California.

I was comfortably settled at the California-Mexican border when I saw my appointment date creeping up. After giving it some thought, I decided to leave the RV in California, book an Airbnb in Vegas, and make the 10-hour round trip alone.

Shadow stayed behind in California to hold down the fort and I left cameras to keep an eye on him. The RV’s security system was also on while I was away.
