In 2014, I turned down several opportunities to leave Jamaica, travel, and see the world. After saying no to what might have been an amazing experience in Australia, Germany, and then London … I promised myself that for 2015, my New Year’s Resolution was to take risks.
Adventures and Misadventures
This decision catapulted me into the adventure of a lifetime.
In June 2015, I quit my corporate job in payroll and packed my life into three suitcases and a laptop bag to enjoy nomad life in Jamaica. I then traveled to the U.S., and ― after a grueling, years-long process ― became a naturalized citizen.
In 2020, I bought an FJ Cruiser and a travel trailer. I then traveled across Mexico and the American Desert Southwest with my cat in the middle of a global pandemic.
My Debut Novel
Like everyone else, my triumphs have been sprinkled with my fair share of failure and frustration. Even so, each step has taken me closer and closer to my goals. With the help of my family, I turned my hobby into a thriving business and I’ve been our “preferred contractor” for virtually all our clients since 2016. These days, most of my work is on Google’s LLMs.
I also published my debut novel on Halloween in 2018 and have been working on revisions for a second.
The Adventure Continues
This blog documents my adventures and all the lessons I’ve learned as a Jamaican in America. I’ve also shared my adventures in Mexico and look forward to discussing life in Spain. Stick around for the tales of trials and triumphs.
You won’t be disappointed.

Good site this is my foot print
Your foot print? Glad you like the site!
Hiya, I am really glad I have found this information. Nowadays bloggers publish only about gossips and web and this is really frustrating. A good web site with exciting content, this is what I need. Thank you for keeping this web site, I’ll be visiting it. Do you do newsletters? Can’t find it.
Hi – thank you! No, I don’t do newsletters, but when you follow the website, notifications of the blog posts come straight to your email. I don’t read newsletters, so I don’t send them out to others. I think it’s only fair, or I would be a hypocrite with that one.
Thanks again!
Good for you! To quote Braveheart, “Everyone dies, but not everyone truly lives!”
Thanks for sharing that!
Nice weblog right here! Also your website so much up very fast! What host are you the usage of? Can I get your associate hyperlink in your host? I want my website loaded up as fast as yours lol
Hi Malik! I’m glad you enjoyed my blog. I use WordPress to do my hosting, which is probably why it loads so fast. The themes you use can also cause pages to load very slowly. I once had a theme that loaded all my blog posts on the home page and it took a lot of time and used up a lot of data, especially since I had so many pictures embedded in my posts.
Hope this helps!

An additional issue is that video games are typically serious naturally with the principal focus on understanding rather than amusement. Although, it comes with an entertainment aspect to keep your children engaged, every game is frequently designed to work towards a specific group of skills or program, such as math concepts or science. Thanks for your post.
I’m assuming you’re responding to my post about what I learned from playing the Sims? I think that games are actually more about entertainment than learning, but if you pay attention, there are always lessons you can take away from it.
Thanks for dropping by and do come by again!
