RV Travel Vlog | Nightmare Roadtrip From Utah to Colorado

I enjoyed my stay at Sand Hollow State Park, but it was time to meet up with Kevin at the Colorado National Monument. I usually don’t drive for more than 3 to 5 hours a day. For this trip, I was on the road from around 10 AM to 8 PM. To add to the lengthy travel time, I got lost once, almost ran out of gas twice, and almost had two blow-outs on the highway. Not surprisingly, this part of my trip from Southern California to Wyoming was my least favourite…

  1. Yes! We’ve driven from SoCal to Devils Tower in Wyoming and it was very, very long. Glad to see that you and Shadow made it okay. We’ve used the Gas Buddy app to search for gas stations along the way but it’s still difficult in remote areas. Enjoyed seeing the video! – Neek

    1. Thank you! I can use Google maps to search for gas stations along the route. The issue is that, as bad luck would have it, I am usually ready to search for a gas station when there is no phone service. 🤣

      1. Haha, one day that luck might run out. 😅 I’m getting better at planning gas station stops ahead of time.

  2. I don’t blame you for a nightmarish trip: going from SoCal to Wyoming is a LONG drive! Fortunately, you made it, and in one piece!

    1. Very true! But it was specifically CO to WY that it became nightmarish. I think that’s also the first long stretch I drove. All the others were 3 to 5 hours. It felt like I was on the road FOREVER. 😩

    1. I am lucky HE saw them. They were fine when I checked them in the morning and I didn’t even think to look again. 😭
